Project Overview

The Shanghai Fengxian Tower Qinhuo PV & energy storage retrofit is a flagship Huijue site-energy integration project. Using 41 m² of unused equipment-room rooftop, the site was fitted with an 8.8 kW PV system and a 204.8 kWh high-capacity battery bank, plus a diesel genset as emergency backup, forming a multi-source intelligent microgrid. With an ATS automatic transfer switchboard and remote data terminals, PV, storage, grid power, and diesel switch automatically. The project greened a traditional telecom base station, cut grid and fuel consumption, kept the site online during grid anomalies, and added remote intelligent O&M—delivering cost reduction, supply assurance, and lower carbon in a model that can be replicated across suburban tower sites nationwide.
