Mauritania Site Energy Solution

PV-Storage-Diesel Hybrid Microgrid Unattended Base Station Energy Cabinet Off-Grid Overseas Base Station Power

Project Overview

The Mauritania site energy project is a flagship Huijue overseas off-grid base-station package delivery. With no public grid, local telecom sites long relied on diesel alone—high O&M cost and poor supply stability. Huijue delivered seven integrated outdoor PV–storage–diesel energy systems featuring 2000×1500×800 mm galvanized outdoor cabinets, 48 V high-capacity LiFePO₄ batteries, high-efficiency PV arrays, 16 kW silent diesel gensets, and EMS-B2010 energy management units. The system automatically prioritizes PV, uses storage for smoothing and voltage support, and starts diesel at low SOC—delivering round-the-clock power with remote monitoring and unattended O&M for desert off-grid African telecom sites.

Project Region Off-grid remote telecom base-station clusters in Mauritania, Africa
Application Scenario Overseas telecom base stations without grid coverage; desert islanded site power; remote African 5G off-grid retrofit; high-fuel-cost site energy upgrades; long-life power for unattended overseas telecom sites
Solution Fully off-grid PV–storage–diesel microgrid for telecom base stations: outdoor integrated cabinets combining distribution, thermal control, and storage; PV arrays and silent intelligent diesel gensets; EMS automatic dispatch with PV-first consumption, storage buffering, and diesel start at low battery SOC; remote FSU monitoring for unattended operation—plus manufacturing, export packing, and standardized turnkey delivery.
Core Equipment 2000×1500×800 mm galvanized outdoor integrated cabinet; 48 V / 155200 Ah LiFePO₄ battery bank; DC 48 V intelligent thermal management; PV modules and mounting structures; 16 kW / 20 kVA silent intelligent diesel genset; EMS-B2010 energy management & monitoring unit; hybrid power distribution subrack; PV switching rectifier modules

Project Advantages

End-to-end power reliability

Integrated PV–storage–diesel collaboration with multi-layer backup eliminates outages in off-grid areas and sustains 24/7 power.

Intelligent automatic energy dispatch

EMS priority logic puts PV first, storage as buffer, and diesel as last resort—auto-switching sources for desert day/night and irradiance swings without manual intervention.

Lower carbon and O&M cost

Maximizes solar use, sharply cuts diesel runtime, and reduces fuel purchase, transport, maintenance, and emissions.

Remote unattended O&M

FSU/EMS remote units provide cloud views of generation, storage, load, and device status with remote fault alerts—fewer visits to remote overseas sites.

Project Outcomes

01

Continuous off-grid power

Multi-source PV–storage–diesel complementarity keeps telecom base stations online year-round in fully off-grid desert areas.

02

Sharp diesel fuel reduction

PV is used first; diesel is emergency-only—significantly cutting fuel purchase and transport costs.

03

Lower overseas O&M spend

Real-time remote monitoring and online fault alerts reduce long-distance site visits and genset service labor.

04

Built for harsh desert climates

Galvanized outdoor cabinets with intelligent thermal control withstand African heat and sand, extending equipment life.

05

Automatic energy source switching

No on-site staffing required—the system switches sources by irradiance and battery SOC, reducing field management load.

06

Standardized, replicable packages

Integrated cabinets package the full energy stack for standardized export and batch rollout to off-grid telecom sites worldwide.
