This Vertical Cap-Type Fiber Optic Cable Closure is a dedicated splice protection device for outdoor fiber optic lines, used for straight-through and branch splicing protection of various cables. The housing is made of modified polymer plastic with high mechanical strength, offering flame-retardant, impact-resistant, high/low-temperature-resistant, and UV-aging-resistant properties. It blocks out heat, cold, moisture, and microbial corrosion, and cushions fiber splice points against damage from vibration and cable tension/torsion. The unit achieves an IP68 protection rating using a dual sealing structure: overall mechanical sealing of the box body, plus two sealing schemes for the cable ports—a rotary-press seal for cut cable ports and a direct-press seal for uncut cable ports—combined with polyolefin vulcanized silicone rubber sealing rings, compatible with Φ10 to 17.5mm cables. No heat-shrink tubing is required for sealing assistance, simplifying installation. The product holds multiple utility patents and can be repeatedly disassembled and resealed. It supports three installation methods—wall mounting, pole mounting, and underground manhole deployment—and is compatible with aerial, duct, and direct-buried cable deployment projects across all scenarios.
