The CWDM coarse wavelength division multiplexer is a low-cost WDM transmission technology for the metro network access layer. An optical multiplexer combines optical signals of different wavelengths onto a single fiber for transmission, while at the receiving end an optical demultiplexer separates the combined signal into its individual wavelength signals and routes them to the corresponding receiving equipment. The product is widely used in optical transmission, metro networks, and WDM technology applications, with an operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, offering high cost-effectiveness and flexible deployment.
