Twelve Core Pigtail

Product Overview

A 0.9mm pigtail, also known as a pigtail bundle, comes in bundled and ribbon types. It has a connector on only one end, while the other end is a bare fiber terminus that is fusion-spliced to the fiber core of another cable. It is commonly found inside fiber terminal boxes or coiled on 12-fiber integrated trays within cable distribution boxes, connecting the cable to the terminal equipment. Pigtails are divided into multimode and single-mode types: multimode pigtails are orange, operate at an 850nm wavelength with a transmission distance of 500m, and are used for short-distance interconnection; single-mode pigtails are used for long-distance transmission. The product delivers stable and reliable performance and is widely used in communication network construction, operation, and maintenance.
